CALEDONIA -- A Hamilton TV station is showing video of a violent confrontation between aboriginal protesters and residents in Caledonia.

One of the Six Nations protesters threw a two-by-four at a resident, narrowly missing the person, in video recorded Saturday night and aired last night by CH News.

The protesters erected a roadblock in the wake of the botched police raid three weeks ago on their occupation of nearby Douglas Creek Estates.

The Caledonia residents told CH News about 14 of them went to the roadblock to clear the blockade.
