CALEDONIA, ON, May 19 /CNW/ - Based on previous information from Chief Alan McNaughton the Caledonia Citizens' Alliance members fully expect the Natives to follow through with their initial commitment to announce the removal of the barricades by today. "We are all working in good faith and have no reason to believe that the Natives would not honour their words," said Ken Hewitt, spokesperson for the Alliance.
Don Bowman, Chair of the Alliance said, "The Caledonia Citizens' Alliance is working in good faith with honourable actions." The Alliance is aware that the rebuilding of positive relationships is beneficial to both sides and hopes that once the barricades come down both the community of Caledonia and Six Nations can begin to work towards achieving harmony once again.
