The Six Nations Minor Lacrosse Association will no longer call the arena in Caledonia, home after local residents were asked to disrupt a match. The threat was contained in a mysterious e-mail sent to residents, telling them to block people who are "unwelcome" in the community from entering the arena today. The 400 members of the lacrosse association range from three to 16 years old, and are from several Six Nations communities. The association, which planned to make the arena its main base of operations for the summer, had just hosted a competition featuring 21 teams from across Ontario.
