Saturday, August 2nd is the deadline to appeal Kenneth Deane's sentence. Deane is the Acting OPP Sergeant who killed Anthony O'Brien "Dudley" George during the Stoney Point re-occupation of their traditional territories (formerly known as Ipperwash Provincial Park). Not only was Deane found guilty of criminal negligence causing death, he also lied in court. Yet, Deane will serve two years less a day IN THE COMMUNITY, and will be allowed to carry a firearm in two years.
