CHARGES WITHDRAWN AGAINST 20 OF 26 STONEY POINTERS
The 26 people who were charged with Forcibly Entering and Detaining a Park on September 6, 1995 at Stoney Point appeared in court in Sarnia today for their trials. The charges against 20 of the 26 people were withdrawn by the Judge and trials of the remaining six were adjourned until Wednesday of this week. The remaining six have multiple charges against them. One of the six had a Mischief charge dismissed today.
The six people who will be in court on Wednesday will be represented by the Duty Council as they do not have a lawyer.
